   Ethorenn, a young boy that lives high up in a mountain village wakes up from a nightmare. He joins his father out on the fields but as always his mind is somewhere else. He dreams of adventure, to get away from this village and out in the world. One morning Ethorenn was outside in the forest, when he found mysterious footprints in the dirt, Intruders!? Quickly Ethorenn run back just se see his villages being raided by a group of orchs. He runs to help his village, but quickly he gets hit and everything goes black.

   Ethorenn wakes up with a headache. His hands and feet are tied up and he remembers what have happened. He had been kidnapped by orchs… He finds some spears and quickly cut himself free and escapes, but he gets noticed...

   It's just bad luck. After getting away from the young dragon that "saved" him from the orchs, Ethorenn disturbing a huge sleeping Wyvern. This one won't he escape from that easily and Ethorenn prepare for the worst, getting eaten. But again the young dragon saves him. Why? Why does this dragon care so much about him to save him twice and from a much bigger and stronger beast...

   To Ethorenns amaze, the young dragon has shown him the way home, but something’s not right... There's smoke, allot of smoke coming from his village. When they arrive all he sees is destruction.

   The village he once called home was burnt to the ground. If that wasn’t enough the young dragons parents had tracked them down and they don't look so happy...

   Emereld feel a faint human presence. It's Fermen! Ethorenns beloved friend and mentor that lies within a wreckage of a building. Still alive!

   When he regains his consciousness, Ethorenn finds out what exactly happen to his villages. With nothing left for him here, Fermen ask him to leave everything behind and travel to the elves, but Ethorenn can’t leave just yet.

   First he needs to find Eldrinor that have been taken by the orchs.

   After an unexpected encounter with a mountain troll, Ethorenn and Neväida are taken high up the mountain. There they realize the reason the mountain troll has shown interest in them. They are prepared for supper. Thankfully, trolls are stupid creatures and easily fooled. Ethorenn easily tricks them and overwhelms the trolls and getting the upper hand.

   With quick thinking, Ethorenn makes his move. With lightning speed Ethorenn take care of both trolls. Throwing his burning cloak in the face of one and jump kicks the other one. Neväida just looking on in astonishment. After getting the upper hand against the trolls, Ethorenn and Neväida are finally safe until a half broken stone golem surprise them. This foe is nothing they can handle and they make a run for it down the cliff side, where they meet up with Emereld and Quloth.
